5 Great Kids’ 3rd Birthday Party Ideas

Yehey! It’s your kid’s 3rd birthday party! And you know what that means, right? It’s time to prepare your creative juices and wallets to make everything downright fun and memorable. But before you get too excited, take time to read the following birthday party ideas first.

Stephanie Nanini

The party’s more fun when Spongebob and Patrick are around.

Idea #1: Go back to the basics. Erase the notion that you need to spend big on cakes, food, and entertainment just to make your little guests scream with delight. Keeping it simple is actually a good idea. You can incorporate inexpensive and fun activities, like the undying Trip to Jerusalem, Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and piñata.

Idea #2: Save the sweets for last. As you all know, sugar and kids are a lethal combination. You don’t want to stress yourself with a bunch of sugar-high kids during the party, do you?

Idea #3: Get things moving! If you’ve mistakenly served sweets first, don’t worry. There’s still a solution to your problem. Just make sure your activities will manage to hook their interest or keep them moving. Maybe you could let them go on a color search game, where they need to find objects with identical color.

Jane Dones

Idea #4: Win or lose, give every kid a prize. Of course, you don’t want your guests to leave the party luhaan (in tears), right? The prizes don’t have to be expensive. Perhaps you could give away coloring books, toys, foods, story books, and the likes.

Idea #5: Go all out with your theme! Hey, it’s only once a year that you get to celebrate your kid’s birthday, so you might as well make the best out of it. Make sure that everything is coordinated with the overall theme of the party.

Like, if you want a luau theme party, you could let everyone wear fancy Hawaiian tropical costumes, make the whole venue look like you’re on a beach, and perhaps get Bikini Bottom’s most favorite residents, Spongebob and Patrick, to attend the party.
